Why did Skyline at MacArthur Place changes their address?

The City of Santa Ana has renamed the street on which the "Skyline at MacArthur Place" project is located, with such name change to be effective June 1, 2008. As a result, beginning on June 1, 2008, the SkylineinOC project's current street address of 9 and 15 Hutton Center Drive will be officially changed to 9 and 15 MacArthur Place.

Starting with your surrounding, you are 10 minutes or less from one of the most sought after coastlines in the country, Newport Beach. A couple blocks away you are able to see a show at the Performing Arts Center or go listen to a concert at the Segerstrom Concert Hall. Shopping is endless with South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island literally minutes away from SkylineinOC. Not far away are both the Angels Stadium and the Honda Center which house our World Series Champions, the Angels, and our Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks. What is included with my purchase of a SkylineinOC unit?

Along with all the SkylineinOC Amenities each unit will have 2 parking spaces in their underground parking structure and a 192 cubic ft. storage space. When you or any guest enter into the lobby they will be greeted by a 24 hour lobby host. There also is an on-site concierge service, and a full time management staff.

When is Skyline at MacArthur Place going to be done?

Skyline at MacArthur Place is scheduled for the second quarter of 2008. If you're looking off the 55 freeway towards the MacArther Place and see two huge cranes that's where SkylineinOC is being constructed.

What type of amenity features is Skyline going to have?

Skyline at MacArthur Place is looking to create the biggest and best backyard around with some of the greatest SkylineinOC Amenities. With separate men’s and women’s clubs with wet and dry saunas, massage rooms, and relaxation areas with state of the art flat screen technology. Laying between the buildings is a 25-meter Junior Olympic pool with sun decks, private cabanas and not just one but two Jacuzzis. The North Tower houses the 3,700 Sq. ft. fitness center which will feature 35 top-of-the-line exercise machines and a private yoga studio. The South Tower will hold the 3,000 Sq. ft. entertainment lounge with a full demonstration kitchen, pool tables, card tables, and a wine bar. SkylineinOC used every space possible they even used the sides of the buildings to house either a full length of the building putting green course or a bocce ball course. SkylineinOC are going to hold many different events in there first couple years. This will help SkylineinOC community be able to interact and meet with each other. Some of these calendar events include on-site wine tasting, gourmet cooking classes, fitness training, water aerobics and other programs that would utilize there workout facilities, demo kitchen, wine lockers and its lavish lounge.

Who designed Skyline at MacArthur Place?

SylineinOC has integrated two architectural firms Perkins & Company and Renzo Zecchetto Architects. Both of these firms provide a breath of fresh air when it comes to design and style. Parkins & Company has been a family run establishment since 1975. The firm is currently run by John Perkins III and his father, John Perkins. This outstanding team is dedicated to design innovation and exceptional project management. This firm leads the market with its use of computer-aided design and production, including 3D modeling, rendering, animation and document management. Perkins & Company have developed nine certified "green" buildings. A building worthy of being certified "green" needs to pass seven priority areas; site strategies, water conservation and efficiency, energy and atmospheric impacts, resource efficient materials, waste reduction, healthy buildings, and indoor air quality.

Renzo Zecchetto Architects, established in 1990, is located in Santa Monica, California. These teams of architects believe that if you know the knowledge of the specific site, the cultural context of it and the clients vision you will create good architecture. Renzo Zecchetto Architects takes all issues accountable when recognizing there design goals. Some of these issues are scale and streetscape, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, and the integration of sub stainable design and modern living processes.
