Distance To OCPAC / Segerstrom Concert Hall

The Orange County Performing Arts Center presents a broad range of programming each season, including international ballet and dance, national tours and top Broadway shows, intimate performances of jazz and cabaret, classical music performed by renowned orchestras and ensembles, as well as many other special events. Segerstrom Concert Hall is one of the Nation’s premiere arts organizations. The combination of Johnson’s groundbreaking design and the majestic architecture of Ceasar Pelli provide a surreal experience for both the eye and ear. The elegant architecture and the intimacy of the 2,000-seat Concert Hall create an ideal setting for classical music, which transforms the concert-going experience in Orange County. The stand alone building also houses a music library, two large orchestra chambers for rehearsals, eight individual rehearsal rooms, and fifteen dressing rooms, in order to accommodate and attract world-class performers. The “shoebox”-shaped hall feature three, silver-leafed, acoustical canopies that will form a shimmering ceiling, reflecting both the performers and audience below.
